Returns & Refund Policy: If the condition of the item from an online purchase was not accurately represented by the photos and description on our website, please give us a call to request a return. You can return an item if it is in the same condition in which you received it and if you call to request a return within five days of receipt. You will be eligible to receive a 90% refund on the item. Shipping cost can not be refunded. The 10% restocking charge will help cover our handling and credit card costs.
If you would like to return items from an online purchase for another reason, not related to the item’s condition or representation on our website (for example, if you change your mind), you will be eligible for a store credit only.
Condition of Maps and Prints: Minor defects due to age may be present. Significant defects are noted in our descriptions and shown in our photographs.
For purchases in our store, you may exchange your item for store credit only, if the item is returned within 5 days and is in the same condition as when the item was purchased.
Please note: Maps are subject to availability and prices of items are subject to change. We will do our best to provide you with comparable alternatives from which you may select, if an item becomes unavailable.
Sizes: Vertical measurements are normally given before horizontal. Sizes are accurate to the nearest quarter inch. Map sizes are measured to the neat line unless otherwise noted.
Mail Ordering: Orders may be placed through the secure website, by phone by calling 508-945-1660 (MA) or by email. Email orders will require a phone call in order to collect payment information (sensitive information should not be sent by email). Please give your phone number when ordering, so that alternatives can be discussed if your first choice has been sold.
In Person: Our store on Cape Cod is open daily, year ’round. You are welcome to call to verify availability of an item, to check our hours, or to make an appointment with Bob, the owner.
Payment Methods: Payment may be made by check or credit card. We accept MasterCard and Visa for domestic US orders. For international purchases we can only accept PayPal. When buying by credit card, be sure to give your credit card number, expiration date, security code, and billing address. For international payment via PayPal, please contact us for information.
Shipping: Please add $15 for shipping depending on size or distance. West of the Mississippi River and for extra large and/or expensive orders, a minimum of $20 will be applied. International orders will be quoted separately, but often cost around $50-60 or more if additional insurance is required. Shipping costs for framed pieces will be handled through a local shipping company. Sales Tax: Please add 6.25% sales tax for shipments to Massachusetts.
Requests are normally processed within 24-48 hours of order receipt. Unless requested by customer, items are shipped by U.S. Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation. Federal Express and UPS delivery are also available for additional cost and may require additional processing time. Framed, specialty and extra large items may be shipped through an independent shipper. We will make the arrangements and finalize them with you prior to shipping. US Postal Service Priority International is used for shipping outside of the U.S. and includes tracking and insurance.
Note that the price you pay for shipping covers for part of the cost of packaging, shipping and insurance. We do not earn a profit from shipping to you.
