Antique black and white illustration showing the surrender of The Earl Cornwallis at Yorktown, Virginia, which ended the Siege of Yorktown (the last major campaign of the American Revolutionary War.) Drawn by Howard Pyle, and published as a supplement to Harper's Weekly on October 22, 1881, three days after the 100th anniversary of the depicted historic event. Good to Very good overall antique condition with issued fold (as well as additional folds caused by a previous owner,) minor edge wear/very minor paper loss, and small holes at the fold where the print was attached to the publication. Page measures approximately 16.5" x 22.75" (H x W) overall. **SOLD**
