Antique printed color map of part of New York City, from the Atlas of New York City by Bromley, 1916. Shows Stanton St to E. 4th St and Second Ave to Clinton St / Avenue B with Marble Cemetery. The explanation key for this atlas was only included on the index map- pink indicates brick, yellow is frame (wood), an X means the building is a stable, the numbers and letters on each building indicate the number of stories of the building and whether it has a basement, store, or saloon (see index image for full explanation). Very good antique condition with toning overall and wear at the paper edges. Sheet measures approx. 11.5 x 16.25 inches. Double-sided sheet has NYC018A on one side and NYC018B on the other side (please add only one of these two maps to your cart).
