Antique printed color map of Paris, France, by Colton, Ohman & Co. for Brown Brothers & Co. in 1900. Published firmly in the middle of the Belle Epoche, this map indicates where international cheques and letters of credit could be cashed by visitors or transplants in the city. Also includes roads with street names, railroads, notable buildings, public spaces, gardens, and more. This map was published as a folding map and it retains its original folds. On verso is information about the locations of Brown Brothers & Co, as well as a list of the Principal Sights of Paris. Very good condition with a couple of small holes at some of the fold intersections. Measures approx. 12 x 17 inches to the neatline and 14 x 17.75 inches to the paper edges.
