Antique hand colored map of Georgia and Alabama, by Johnson & Browning, c. 1862. Shows rivers, railroads, common roads, and some topographical detail. With two vignettes: Tuscaloosa Observatory and Rice-Mill on Savannah River. Fair to good condition with some overall toning, some stains at center fold, and seam separations at top and bottom (archivally repaired). Measures approximately 17" x 23.5" to the outer edge of the decorative border.
