Antique prints from Ballou's Pictorial Drawing-Room Companion of an American Packet Ship, published in 1855. Text running through the center narrates the imagined voyage. At top left, the ship is leaving Liverpool, at bottom left it meets a steamship and greetings are exchanged via speaking trumpets. The story continues in the top right where the ship has sighted land during a snowstorm, with Boston Light in the distance, and finally at the bottom right the ship s safely at the pier. Good antique condition with some folds and wrinkles along the center fold, slight creases at the lower corners, some mild stains and spots, and overall toning of the antique paper. Sheet measures approx. 15 x 22 inches.
