Antique hand colored map of part of Germany then known as the Upper Rhine, part of modern day central Germany. By Thomas Kitchin, from London Magazine, 1761. Shows the area from Frankfurt in the south to Kassel in the north, Koblenz in the west and Schweinfurt in the east. Other cities show include Marburg, Fulda, Gottingen, and Darmstadt. Very good antique condition with original color. Upper margin appears to have been increased by the addition of similar antique paper. Matted with a neutral mat. Approx. 7 x 9.75 inches to the neatline. ***SOLD***
