Early antique black and white engraved strip road map showing part of the road from London to Barwick, specifically the road between Tuxford and York, as split into six parts. This map includes Sherwood Forrest on the left side and Robin Hoods Well at the bottom. This is sheet three of a five sheet series, however we do not have sheets one or four. For sheets two and five, see TOW521 and TOW523. Published by the London Magazine, c. 1767. Includes illustrated topographical details, houses, churches, cities, etc. Good to very good overall antique condition with mild toning, some light spots, and some surface soiling.
