Antique uncolored map of Bunker Hill, Boston, showing the layout of the fort, artillery, and ships during the battle in the Revolutionary War. From "The Family Magazine" published in either 1839 or 1843 (there is some ambiguity as to which date is correct). The lines showing the direction of fire make it clear that most of the fighting of the battle actually took place on Breed's Hill. Shows rivers, water bodies, landforms, ships, forts, and roads. Very good antique condition with minor toning, text from reverse side visible. Map measures approximately 4.5 x 6.5 inches, while the full sheet measures approximately 10.5 x 6.5 inches.
