Antique uncolored print showing the Seamen's Chapel that was on Bethel St in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was one of the tallest buildings and visible from sea as ships approached the city. Unfortunately the chapel was destroyed in a fire in 1886. The text on the right side and verso discuss the Chapel. From the Family Magazine, published in either 1839 or 1843 (there is some ambiguity as to which date is correct). Very good antique condition with light toning. Text from reverse side visible. Sheet measures 6.5 x 10.5 inches.
