Antique hand colored map from the "Atlas of the Hudson River Valley from New York City to Troy Including a Section of about 8 Miles in Width" published in 1891 by Watson & Co. under the supervision of F.W. Beers. Includes part of Yonkers, the south part of Greenburgh, and in NJ: part of Palisade Township and Harrington Township, both of which were divided into boroughs and no longer exist (this map probably shows the area of Alpine New Jersey). Shows property owners, parks, cemeteries, roads, town borders, major land and water features, etc. In good antique condition with toning, foxing, transfer from tab, backed in linen, with center fold as issued, paper seam separation at center fold, fold crease at bottom right corner, measures approximately 30.5 x 20.5 inches.
