Antique hand colored map from Asher & Adams' New Statistical and Topographical Atlas of the United States, 1872. Delineates rivers, landings, railroads, stations, distances, etc., and shows populations of cities and villages containing 300,000 inhabitants and upwards, as well as populations of counties. Fair overall antique condition. With a few imperfections that are not very visible- significant seam separation that has been archivally repaired, a small piece of tape on the left side face of the map, and a perforated stamp on right side that says "Louisville Free Public Library". Measures approx. 16 x 23 inches.
