“Wonderful Shop and Shopkeeper”

I wanted an antique-style map of Cape Cod, and had been looking at antique stores and shops throughout our recent visit. Maps of Antiquity was recommended to me, so we went to see what they had. I was charmed by the cottage-styled shop. The owner was so pleasant and helpful. I found exactly what I wanted, and he arranged to have my purchase shipped to my home. It arrived exactly as he promised: no delays and securely wrapped for shipping. I am so pleased with my experience, and I would highly recommend this interesting and fun shop to visitors of the lovely towm of Chatham!

“A must-see stop for visitors to Chatham”

My family spent about half an hour in this shop, browsing the amazing maps. The owner chatted with us quite a bit, telling us a bit about Chatham (it was our first visit there), offering some recommendations for things to do there, and highlighting some items in his collections (including his oldest maps). This is a fun place for anyone to visit, and I highly recommend a stop here. It definitely stands out from the clothing/art boutiques that dominate Chatham’s downtown.

“History Buff’s Paradise”

We had a few rainy days in the Cape, so we had to rearrange our thinking about what to do. This shop looked intriguing – and it was!! How fun to see maps dating back to medieval times. So cool to see how our world has transformed. Also, of special interest was the New England room where we found several prints from local attractions of childhood towns. Stop here if you have some time and love maps or history!! The shopkeeper was happy to have us peruse and even brought us out some maps of interest from our conversation!

“Fun shopping”

We happened into this shop while driving around and were very happy that we did. The owner and his associate were so pleasant and helpful. He has a wonderful collections of all sorts of maps and great ideas on how to use them for table tops, tiles, not just framing. One can easily spend a few hours exploring.

“Something Special”

We decided to purchase a map to remind us of our wonderful stay on the cape and at the Guest House. The range of maps is amazing and there is something for anyone interested in maps from around the world. The staff are excellent and went out of their way to help. Certainly worth a visit if you are interested in historical maps.

“Wonderful place!”

We stopped by to browse and spend a short time but spent hours browsing the thousands of maps from all over the world. I haven’t had so much fun buying something in a long time. Bought an 1860 beautiful United States map that we will frame.

“Hidden Gem!”

We stopped out of curiosity thinking it was an antique store, but it’s a Guest House AND if you are looking for maps this is the place to go! Maps from all over the world…and easily works of art in their own respect. They also have Vintage postcards. There are three charming and beautifully done rooms that they rent out and the rates they quoted seemed more than reasonable considering they are located right on Route 28 minutes from Chatham Center, local beaches, and the Cape Cod Bike Trail. The back yard has lovely gardens and there were lilac and wisteria blooming at the time of our visit. The owners Danielle and Robert were friendly and welcoming. We are already trying to figure out how soon we can book our next stay in one of their suites!
