United States Massachusetts Boston
Antique printed color map of Boston "Ancient and Modern in Picture and Story" by Robert Winn, 1960. This map is full of fascinating history and transposes Boston from 1630 over the outlines of Boston in 1830 and 1930, showing how the city changed over time. On verso is a map showing the rides of three men on the fateful night in 1775 to warn that "The British are coming!" Very good antique condition with folds, verso map has some apparent glue and paper bits stuck to it in the upper left margin. The Boston 1630 map measures approx. 16 x 19.5 inches to the neatline, and the verso map measures approx. 12.5 x 16 inches.
