Guyot, Swiss geographer and Princeton professor, from "Guyot's Geographical Series, The Earth and its Inhabitants, Intermediate Geography." At the time of printing this map, Lake Victoria had not yet been confirmed as the source of the Nile, and the Amazon was still considered the longest river. Verso contains text on Waves and Tides. Excellent condition with very light toning, measures approx. 8 x 11 inches
