Large, black and white antique Nautical Chart (Blueback Chart) of the Caribbean Sea and surrounding area by Robert Blachford, London, 1807. Shows Panama and the northern coast of South America, as well as Jamaica, Haiti, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and Guadalupe, Antigua, Dominica, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada, Barbados, and others. With triangulation, and with insets of The Berbice River, The River Surinam, Essequero, and The Island of Curazao (Curacao), and small illustrations of views of Little Curazao, Curazao, and Cayenne. Very good condition overall, some restoration, some discoloration at edges, 29 x 63 inches.

New Spain, Southern Caribbean, Blue Back Navigational Chart, 3 joined pieces, Mouth of the Orinoco/Trinidad to Veracruz, south coast of Cuba to north coast of South America. 7 inserts include: Port of Veracruz, Port Au Prince, Anton Lizardo, Aguadilla Anchorage, Gulf of Darien, Puerto de Guanica, Jacquemel Harbour. Original color includes lighthouses in red and yellow with the balance of the chart in black and white. Includes 5 recognition profiles. Nautical chart is whole, bound and in original, very good condition, with some vertical creases, minor surface soiling and small water stain in the lower right corner.

Antique uncolored nautical chart of Bermuda, by the Hydrographic Office, US Navy, 1877. This detailed chart shows the many islands of Bermuda with soundings to aid navigation for safe passage. Three inset maps that are titled: Grassy Bay and Ireland Island; The Banks S.W. of the Bermudas; The Narrows or Ship Channel and St George Harbor. Six compasses, four of which show the magnetic compass versus the true compass readings. This chart has been professionally restored - cleaned, deacidified, and rebacked with linen. Very good restored condition. Some light stains are still visible. The chart was damaged on the bottom edge and the damaged areas have been filled in to be barely noticeable (mostly in margin) Approx. 28 x 39 inches to the neatline, and 30 x 40.5 inches to the paper edges.

Excellent detailed drawings of the West Indies with insets of Sir Francis Drakes Channel including Tortola, St. John's, Virgin Islands, St. George Harbour, and Boca Grande. Two recognition profiles. Great representation of all of the Bahama Banks, and the Florida Keys, and south and central Florida, from Mosquito Inlet, Cape Canaveral and Tampa Bay in Florida to the north coast of Cuba, includes Florida Reef with a 9 1/2" x 9" inset chart of Key West, . With 13 recognition profiles and some plotting. Restored, cleaned, rebacked, and deacidified, some brown toning, 2 narrow smudges in upper center - 1 is 2" and 1 is 3" long, overall good condition.
