Hand colored antique coastal report chart of Quicks Hole by George W. Eldridge, 1901. Quicks Hole is the strait in the Elizabeth Islands between Nashawena Island and Pasque Island, and is well traveled as a passage between Buzzard's Bay and Vineyard Sound. This chart includes water depths and navigational information. Hand coloring is probably recent. This chart is half of a page that was separated from the other half at some point, from Eldridge's harbor chart atlas. Very good condition with very light water stain at bottom right. Approx. 14 x 9 inches to the inner neatline.
