Siberia - Maker: Arbuckle Arbuckle Coffee Geographical Print was produced in 1890 and is an exceptionally fine example of a chromolithograph (early printed color). The quality is evident in the sharpness and clarity of color as well as the artistic composition and amount of information in each piece. The place-based images were produced as “trade cards” for each state and country throughout the world. They were placed in coffee cans as an incentive or reward to buy the coffee. Two atlases (a United States and a World) were created using the images. Our Arbuckle prints are originals, in excellent condition, and either single or double matted as shown. Image size is 3” x 5”, matted to 8” x 10”. While these prints can fit into stock size frames, we recommend you consider custom conservation framing, also available at Maps of Antiquity, to protect the prints for many years. Price: $45.00 Date: 1890 |
