Antique hand colored map showing Mexico and Central America. This map was made by Spanish map maker Pablo Alabern circa 1820. It depicts Mexico during the war for independence from Spain. Mexico includes all of "Nueva California", Nuevo Mejico" and Texas which is a part of "San Luis de Potosi". Also shown are Guatamala, Panama, the Yucatan Peninsula, and Cuba. Very good overall antique condition with some minor surface soiling. approx. 13 x 15 inches
