Unusual circular antique colored lithograph Birds-Eye View map of the White Mountains, New Hampshire, produced by the Boston and Maine Railroad, 1902. Shows views and descriptions of mountains in all directions from the top of Mt. Washington. There's a magnificent sketch of the buildings at the top and the railroad line going from other areas to the top of the mountain. Shows Mount Washington ravines. Area towns are also indicated as well as each mountain peak with numbered keys. Original color. Folding map with its original paper cover. Very good condition with folds as issued, two tiny seam separations at fold intersections. Because of the thin antique paper, it is possible to see the printed text and images that are on the back- this effect can be lessened by framing with a dark colored paper or mat behind the map. Approx. 26 x 26.5 inches.

Here is an excerpt: "While far famed as a city of lovely homes; while a leader in the wholesale and jobbing business of the Pacific Coast; while a great wheat-shipping point and distributing center, Tacoma is, primarily and fundamentally, a manufacturing city, and will always continue as such." Art deco border featuring trees and mountain rock. Excellent antique condition with a center crease and some puctures in the center from being bound into a book. approx. 10.75 x 16.75 inches.

This printed color antique bird's-eye-view map was published in 1911 by the Delaware & Hudson Company and the Champlain Transportation Company. The map was made by A. A. Heard and included in a travel brochure highlighting the Lake George, Lake Champlain area. This map is still complete with the brochure, which shows maps of both lakes as well as boating and leisure information. The map stretches from Albany on the left to Montreal on the right and includes Schenectady, Rutland, Burlington, Plattsburg, Fort William Henry, the St Lawrence River, and more. Folded as issued. Good antique condition with some separation at seams. The map is approx. 8.5 x 30 inches, but when the brochure is folded out completely, it is 17 x 30 inches.

This map is the center page in a folded booklet published for travelers. It includes a lot of travel information with further maps and images. Very good condition with very minor water staining in top and bottom margin, and a tear into the map at top center. The map measures approx. 15.25 x 8 inches to the neatline.
